My Stapler is probably older than you are.

I’m pretty sure it’s 60 years old, easily 55. When I was a little kid I wanted some weird things.

It still works and is my only stapler.

The reason I brought this up is because I saw a post on Tumblr, someone posted a stapler that I thought was identical, but theirs is a Swingline and mine is an Arrow. Both the same color tho.

We’re getting pretty desperate for posts around here, aren’t we?

Itbwas quite a busy weekend . Saturday was a Relay Swim Race.

Sundaybwas a 5K walk/run (I walked)

I thought I had another picture but I must have missed the button.

Now it’s Monday,the one day I have no alarm going off, and I’ll be taking it easy. Expept laundry, mowing the back yard and maybe doing a caulking job I suspect I’ll need soon.

I injured myself taking a nap yesterday. That’s what happens when you get old. I think it’s from having my feet up on the armrest and kinda bending a knee backwards.

Actually, it’s not that bad. I fack I think I feel ok now.

I ran and walked and swam and did some good yoga stretches this morning, they’re refilling the pool! Tomorrow maybe I swim in the sea AND the pool!

About 11 hours ago, (8:06 Cayman Time last evening) the sun passed over the equator , starting autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern.

Its been raining here for several days. Hopefully it will taper off today..

this morning, on my walk run swim, workers were finishing up the pool at Nova. They said they’re going to start putting water in it today. It looks very nice. I should have taken a picture. Hindsight is 20/20

In July of this year I overnighted my social security application.. Almost immediately I received an email saying they were going to call me September 11th. September 11th, I received an email saying they couldn’t get through, and would call again in twm more months.

I’ve been calling and emailing every work day since. (Overseas recipients are handled by an office in Santo Domingo) It was Santo Domingo I was trying to call. Finally, yesterday, I got through and hopefully everything is sorted. I had no problem communicating with the offices in the continental United states, but that Santo Domingo office…

Anyway, I’m greatly relieved. I’ll be even more relieved when the money starts coming in…

Inate the fruit from my cactus. It was … different. It was like ice cream.. but not cold. It was very dry and powdery. I wonder if I waited too long to pick it. And it was almost tasteless.

Tofay is Yom Kippur and I’m fasting. I wonder if that includes my daily coffee?

I picked the Peruvian cactus fruit yesterday. It seems perfect, but i’m going to try it probably today.. (in the middle between two oranges) I’m not sure I’m going to like it, it has a white meat and seems kinda creepy. It’s very unique, compared to most human foods..

allegedly I have ̶l̶e̶a̶r̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶ spoken 17700 words in Duolingo.. The other day there were people speaking Spanish on the beach. I could understand a very few words. I lacked the confidence to go and try to talk to them in Spanish.

I guess I need to just jump in there and do it anyway without worrying about making a fool of myself.
