Thursdays and Saturdays are yoga at Camana Bay. Good location, good group.
I was there last night and it was very challenging .
The place we have it reminds me of the lake in Panama that feeds the Panama Canal
Happy Friday , have a good weekend!

On my dawg walk this morning there was a diver getting in the water. It was about 5:15 AM, still dark.
I remember in Hawaii, a group of us got up at 3:00 a.m. to go diving. We, got in the water at 4:00 a.m. out at 5:00, and back to the ship for breakfast and work by 6:00.
I could do some anytime diving now if I was so inclined… Interesting thought.

Today is my Mom’s 91st birthday. 26 Feb 1935 to today.
Have a great day!
I just finished my first book using Neo Reader on my Boox 4C. Jurassic Park in MOBI format.
The Neo Reader experience was different than the Kindle somewhat but not overly.
First off, the Neo Reader can read apparently all the formats. The books don’t get turned into some unidentifiable folders and files like they do on the Kindle.
What I really like is that I can copy from a book and paste elsewhere. AND I can write anywhere on the page, with the stylus, just like a regular paper book and a pen..
However , navigation on the Boox isn’t as smooth,
PDFs seem better on the Boox. I like how they feel the whole page, instead of giant margins like on the Kindle with tiny text in the middle..
Reading on the Boox is different ,, not really better, not really worse. There are advantages. The Kindle does have its restrictions, implemented on purpose for marketing. The Boox does not have this.
This makes me consider jailbreaking my Kindle. Kindle seems better built and more heavy duty than the Boox.
Have a wonderful day!

I thought I was the only one. Now I’m reading about it. Lawsuits, comparing it to cigarettes.
Crazy
I got rid of Tik Tok, Instagram Facebook, almost all of them. I have Twitter. I’m thinking about getting rid of that.
I guess the thing that makes it good is the thing that makes it bad.
Have a good Tuesday !
I find this to be entertaining and funny.

Above is a list of the top ten worst songs of the 1970s that reached number one on the charts. I find it quite funny. I remember most of the songs, and agree they are terrible! What do you think?
Its Monday here, not looking forward to the workweek.
The weather is expected to “rapidly deteriorate” this evening as a cold front “races through”. I’m not particularly looking forward to that either. Hopefully it will be short-lived.

Aaannd today marks 1400 days in a row of meditation. It helps, it really does. I recommend it for everyone. Trying to meditate is meditating. There’s no such thing as a bad meditation session..
Have a great week!

I enjoyed this book. There’s what I considered good essays and bad essays.
I don’t know if I’d recommend reading this book like I did though, cover to cover like a novel. I think it maybe should be read one essay at a time, maybe while you’re taking a break from another book you’re reading.
Not sure the best way to read this book. I did, and would recommend, taking notes though.
I bought a cane, I saw it, it spoke to me, and I bought it. Impulse buy. Don’t need a cane.

I remember though as a boy, 3 or 4 years old,, I went with my mom to a friend of hers . He owned an antique shop At the end of the trip he let me pick something that I could have, and I picked this cane. I wonder if my mom still has that cane, I think she does.
I hope neither of us ever needs a cane.
Have a great weekend!
PS: I look at that picture, and I look at my floor. My floor is not dirty! I don’t know why it looks like that in the picture.
Have a great day!
Yesterday was a holiday here, Ash Wednesday. It was a day off work.. I slept relatively late, took a couple naps, and did a partial island tour with my guests. In the evening I had a small get together featuring pasta and salad.. It was a much needed quiet restful day.
below or a couple pictures of Lenny, the world famous dog

No, he’s not smoking a cigar, it’s a chewy dog treat.
So now I’m headed off to work, and it feels like a Monday. I guess I’ll be in for a pleasant surprise when I finally realize it tomorrow is Friday!
Adios for now!
I have visitors visiting from Ohio. Yesterday afternoon we did a Western edge of the island tour. We went to all the tourist spots. Things that seem to have changed a lot since the last time I went to some of these beaches and restaurants.

we went to Fish Fry, which used to be open only on Wednesdays and weekends. Well it’s open 7 days apparently with glass plates and metal silverware.
where you went to Smith Cove, It hadn’t been that long since I was there, but there were new showers installed out of nowhere.
Everything is being developed and developed and developed, for old stuff is disappearing..
Tomorrow is a holiday here, Ash Wednesday. It is also the day of the agriculture show. A huge event, the guests may want to go….
Have a great day!

This weekend I learned that if I ever felt the need to rent a 32 ft extension ladder, there I should just hire somebody to do the job that I think I want the ladder for. The ladder, by itself is unmanageable, let alone the job I wanted to do. (And got done)
This weekend, I did some repairs to my roof. Now I’m waiting for the next rain to make sure there’s no leaks. I do have more inspections to do up there on the roof though however, and there’s some painting that needs to be done.
My North Dakota visitor left the 13th, and I had some Ohio visitors arrive yesterday. Quite a busy month, visitor-wise.
Happy Monday! Have a great week!
