I finished the older classic by Ray Bradbury Fahrenheit 451. It was quite good. Dystopian. (That’s a word I learned from Goodreads).

in this book, our future, the firemen don’t put out fires the fire hoses squirt kerosene and they burn the houses down when they find books inside the houses books are illegal. Our main character, a fireman named Montag, switches to the other side after he meets a woman who opens his eyes when he’s walking to work and apparently has been stashing books all the time. And then……

it is quite a good book, the only thing wrong with it is that it ended too soon.. I especially like the picture on the cover, the book / pack of matches. Quite clever!

I always thought that a Friends Quest on Duolingo was where you added friends. So now I have 999 friends on Duolingo and can’t add anymore.

Recently found out that a friend’s Quest is when you and a friend work together to complete 20 lessons.

Normally I don’t care, I do my one lesson a day and maintain my streak. But I happen to know that Christy works at the local hardware store. She’s the one who told me what her friends Quest is. So now it’s one chance and 999 that we are paired up in a friend’s quest, but I don’t want her to have to do all the work. So I’m going to try to do at least 10 lessons in the next 4 days..

That I could wake up feeling better than I did when I went to bed..

Sometimes?

Just once?

I think I woke up screaming last night. Not screaming scream, but Aaaaaahhhhh!. I woke myself up. Sleeping to me is horrible, full of nightmares and negativity. I always wake up feeling like crap. I need my morning yoga and meditation just to pull myself together enough to make it out the door. I don’t know what I did before yoga and meditation.

Then I get home from work exhausted, stay awake until I’m not tired anymore, then go to bed. Insane

I knew I went to bed a little earlier than usual yesterday, I wasn’t surprised that I woke up earlier than usual. But I felt like I was awake for hours, then fell asleep right before the alarm went off.

That seems like a nightly occurance. I’m asleep, but aware, and I think in my sleep that I’m awake. Then the alarm goes off and only then do I realize I was asleep.

But it’s not very restful.

I want to start a Y12SR Meeting here in the Cayman Islands. I’m pretty ready, I’m looking for a place to have it and a name for the group. Below is a list I’ve made, felt really too happy with any of them.

Some of those above are just downright embarrassing, the list is a result of brainstorming ya know… Good ideas and bad., Somehow, I feel like I’m not even in the ballpark yet.

I pretty much have the kinks ironed out of the new laptop. Seems like it’s working ok now..

. I’m feeling quite neutral today, not a good mood or bad. Perfectly neutral.

I’m interested to head into work, and see what the day holds in store. I’m taking my new laptop in to see if I can have some adjustments made.

I bought a laptop last Friday It instantly wasn’t good enought, and the years old android tablet I have is far superior.

I still have a laptop I bought maybe 10 years ago, turned it on, it sucked, and I never really used it. 10-year-old new laptop. Now I have a 0-year-old new laptop to go with it.

I wonder if I can get my money back?
