I pretty much have the kinks ironed out of the new laptop. Seems like it’s working ok now..

At least till I try the next part, adding an audio input from my sound mover!

Its Tuesday, I don’t have a topic for today. Here’s a picture of Lenny. Followed by a picture I think is quite funny

. I’m feeling quite neutral today, not a good mood or bad. Perfectly neutral.

I’m interested to head into work, and see what the day holds in store. I’m taking my new laptop in to see if I can have some adjustments made.

I bought a laptop last Friday It instantly wasn’t good enought, and the years old android tablet I have is far superior.

I still have a laptop I bought maybe 10 years ago, turned it on, it sucked, and I never really used it. 10-year-old new laptop. Now I have a 0-year-old new laptop to go with it.

I wonder if I can get my money back?

Sometimes those people at Duolingo are just criminals. Having me spell an 18 letter word, record grade school kid and a spelling bee. Or sometimes they’ll say a whole paragraph, and expect me to write the whole thing, like I’m trying to be somebody’s secretary, taking notation.

Well, it’s Thursday. I’ve said it before and I say it again, we ought to just skip Thursday and just move right on to Friday. Thursdays are nothing but a nuisance. Like Duolingo sometimes.

I’m reading the book pictured above, The Lonely City.. it’s about 75% boring, autobiographies of famous artists who are depressed I guess, but not lonely. Popular and surrounded by people, going to orgies but lonely, the aids epidemic started, now they can’t go to their public orgy place anymore. They’re lonely. None of the people so far in the book who are, as the cover states, having “adventures in the art of being alone” seem to be alone at all. In fact, quite the opposite.

So far, I don’t think the author or anybody written about in this book, knows the meaning of the word loneliness.

That being said, it does contain some good information pertaining to studies done in the past.

I find the idea of loneliness as a disease, like co-dependence or addiction, quite intriguing..

Something happened at American Express. They no longer accept payment from overseas banks I can’t set up payments using their app because Amex uses routing numbers and my bank uses swift codes

So that’s it, I suspended my card, I paid 35 dollars to wire transfer what apparently was my final.payment.

I never thought it would end like this. I worried that when I die, how would they get the final payment.

Adios. Toodle-ooo.

I’m getting some new sunglasses. I should have them in two and a half weeks.

Can’t wait!

It was a good weekend . Fireworks on new sunglasses, I did a lot of reading, I did some yard work (raking gravel) and I went to the beach and went swimming.

Now it’s back to work.

Yesterday, I stopped by the grocery store. On impulse I bought a large bag of cherries. A huge bag.

When I got home I started eating them. I ate more than half, it was $13 worth of cherries.

I didn’t stop because I wanted to, I stopped because I thought I should.

Can someone overdose on cherries?.

I think not, because if they coulda, I woulda!
