I saw this old tree trunk in the parking lot next door from where I work. I thought it was quite fantastic. The wood seemed to fill he curb to overflowing. Pity someone saw fit to cut down the tree.

All the trees along this line were cut down because there was power lines going through. What a waste of a cool tree. Many cool trees.

Happy Tuesday! It’s morning here, made my lunch already, drinking coffee and posting a post. Same as very weekmorning.

This morning, I put th coffee on th stove, started making my lunch, and realized that I hadn’t turned the stove on. Coffee not goin’ So I turned it on, and you know, my precise schedule was disrupted.

The wife and I have been watching a TV show on Amazon called Golaith. It is pretty good. About an old lawyer who has seen better days. Worth a watch. We’re on episode 3 (I think) and it’s a little guy takes on big guy and wins typa thing.

I guess that’s about all I for my post today. I’m seeing the dentist today, and seeing the dentist tomorrow…

It was a nice weekend. Saturday, I added a shelf to the wife’s screen house. I am pleased with how it came out. The wife is too. I painted it (before I installed it) with some old oil base primer that I had. It was very old, and I didn’t think it was going to mix. An inch below the surface, it was pretty solid. I mixed it with one of those mixers that go on your electric drill, and when I painted it on, it was very thick, it had the consistency of whip cream.

We went to a friend’s swimming pool, and I put the new camera housing in the water for the first time, without the camera. I guess now I’m ready to take the camera underwater.

Sunday, didn’t do much, I took a nap, highlight of the day.

This week I have two dental appointments, almost done!

Why does the Cayman Islands Port Authority order strong currents? It would be a nice, safe swimming place if Mother Nature didn’t follow the Port Authority’s orders!

It’s a lugubrious Thursday, cold wind, rain that bites the skin like shards of ice. Definitely a van day.

On the positive side, it’s not Monday!

Yesterday I had to go to work early and didn’t get to post. Today is the holiday Ash Wednesday and I’m off work competely. I call it Ashy Wednesday because of our cat, Ashy.

Today is the Cayman Islands Agricultural Show, the wife is going with her best friend, Emma. I’m glad I’m not going, I went to them all when I worked at the radio station and I’ve seen plenty. It’s a good time once you get there, but the traffic and parking is atrocious.

I’m staying home, probably going to the beach, weather permitting. And I’m giving Lenny a bath, we have new shampoo recommended by the trainer Lenny stayed with last week.

It’s finally Friday! What a long, strange week it’s been.

It rained this morning, quite hard, although it is supposed to be sunny today. Our walk was very short this morning, because of the rain, good thing too, because as soon as we got back, it started pouring!

Today, Lenny goes to the trainers for today, till Sunday morning. Lenny is a harmless good boy who doesn’t listen.

Tuesday felt like Friday

Wednesday felt like Friday

Today feels like Friday. It’s a week of Fridays. For no reason, this has been a tough week.

Monday felt like Monday though.

This weekend, Lenny is spending the weekend at the trainers house. The good behavior on the leash and completely ignoring everything and running away when off the leash seems un-remedy-able. The trainer wants to spend time with Lenny to try to get a handle on it.

As it gets lighter in the mornings, it seems more and more dogs are awake and active on our morning walk route. None aggressive, just interested in Sheba and Lenny. Even before I started taking the dog(s) with me, I liked it better when it was dark-dark in the mornings. I still do. The one and only good thing about winter. Maybe I’ll start getting up at 4:30 instead of 5… I don’t run or swim anymore, just walk with the dogs.

It’s almost the weekend! Hang in there!

Trying to get Lenny to stop barking. 5AM, he’s barking at me to hurry up for the walk,

I told him this morning, “No Barking”. He barked. I told him “Bad No Barking! You stay! No walk!” And Sheba and I went on our walk and Lenny stayed. He was quite apologetic when we got back

The wife was was upset when we got back, Lenny cried loudly the whole time we were gone. I got upset back, to my way of thinking, it’s counterproductive to get upset with me because the dog’s doing something I’m trying to teach him not to do.

We’ll see if Lenny barks tomorrow.

Lenny is perfect on the leash, but doesn’t listen at all without it.

I have more dental today, with the exception of the implant and crowns, I’m getting almost done.

And it’s gonna be a nice day!
