Yesterday I went in for an “Executive Physical”. They exrayed, took blood, I ran on a treadmill while they monitored my heart. And I saw a dietitian.

il all good, the only number that was off was protein on my blood test. Everyday, I have overnight oats for breakfast, and a wrap with lunch meat for lunch, and snack for dinner. I seldom eat cooked food. I guess I’ll have to change that.

More than one doctor, nurse, OR technician said “you exercise every day.” Not as a question

So I gotta eat more chicken and fish.

I’m glad tomorrow is Friday

I think it was just last week Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath did their final tour online and live. Now Ozzy passed away already.

When I was a teen, I liked their music (Black Sabbath) but I was afraid to buy any of their albums because I thought I might get in trouble because of the word “Sabbath” in the name of the group.

I suppose a lot of people feel a connection with Ozzy Osbourne, many people know about his history and his family and the TV show that featured his life. Reality TV.

76 is an awful young age to die.

Today I’m having a major physical exam, running on a treadmill, MRI, ultrasound, the whole nine yards. I’m getting my second colonoscopy in August. I had my first when I was 50. I have faith that all will be well.

Its lightening-ing and thindering but not raining. I took the above picture about 30 minutes ago and is much more cloudy and thundery and lightningey and it was then.

it was a fairly good weekend, I did some yard work in the yard and some painting in the house. I got a significant amount of work done in my online yoga teacher training course. I said it before and I’ll say it again, the last 2% of that course is taking just as long as the first 98% did. I’m not the only one complaining about the final assignment. But we won’t get into that now.

Today is my Grandfather’s 130th birthday. Well, it would have been, he died in 1976.. But he’s always been my favorite relative.

Yesterday morning Knip had pooped on the floor. I gave him a verbal warning, last chance. When I got home from work yesterday he had peed on Lenny’s bed. That was it. Knip is an outdoor cat.

I always thought cats were inherently litter box trained because they preferred to have a place where they could dig before they went to the bathroom?

I hosed Lenny’s bed, but it might need to be replaced. I mopped the floor, and the smell moved outside with the mop. I might need a new mop and bucket.

So far work isn’t negotiating on my new work contract, I’ll give them one more chance before I sign it anyway.

Just kidding , I can’t not work.

Not sure things are going to work out with Knip becoming an indoor cat. He pooped on the floor last night. I thought cats would always use a litter box if there is one because it’s what they prefer. I’m sure I’m going to find some pee somewhere too….

We have a lot of Sarah Dust in out weather reports these days. It makes for hazy conditions and decreases the blueness of the sky.

I’m easing Knip into being an indoor cat. He spent several hours inside yesterday. He really wants to be friends with Lenny. At first, Lenny wanted nothing to do with Knip. Knife would lay next to Lenny and Lenny would move.

But eventually , Lenny became more tolerant. He even gave Knip a little tongue bath.

Knip is a very loud purr-er.

I’m in between contracts at work, I have to get that sorted out today.

Do you know what I want? I want an alarm clock app that detects the sunrise time (from information on the internet or device GPS), and then one can set an alarm to wake up x number of minutes before or after the sunrise.

As the days and months go by, the alarm clock can be set so that will always go off (for example) 45 minutes before the sunrise. For any amount of time. But it goes off with reference to the sunrise plus or minus minutes and or hours.

wWouldn’t that be cool?

today is a big birthday. Today I start collecting my pension. Today I get a new contract at work, where work does not take money for pension out of my salary, nor do they contribute. The pay scale will change, and I’m not very sure about what the new contract will look like. Part of me wonders if I will agree to continue with the new contract, or if today be my last day at work?

I have turned it over, and however it turns out, I will assume it is how it’s supposed to turn out.
