I see this guy at work so often that he isn’t afraid of me any more, I feed him bread sometimes, but he likes bugs. This picture is a coup;e of weeks old, his tail is all new now. Not sure how he lost it.

Tuesday. I ran and swaam thi orning. It was good. It’s been cold, windy, rainy and other intolerable conditions latley, now it seems to have warmedd up, for a while at least.

This morning I was thinking about an open air market in Udine, Italy. I vendor gave me a sample of this cheese and it was delicious, I know the vendor could see it in my face. It is a moment I think I’ll remember forever. The vendor got much poleasure from my pleasure, I’m sure.

All weekend was very windy and very cold and rainy. This mornng it’s not so windy and not so cold. Last night the Wife dropped a ring down the drain. She said she could handle it, she’d done it before. This morning our bathroom flooded, and I spent my exercise time cleaning it up. Sometimes I think my morning run/swim is the best time of my day.

Ahh Mondays.

Went to go running this morning and it was strong wind with drizzle. I fed the cats and came back in. Miserable weather his morning, Of course, nothing like what they’re getting in the US east coast.

Weather “Bomb Cyclone”

It was very windy and cold here yesterday morning but it got nice by lunch. Hopefully it will do the same today. Glad it’s Friday, first Friday of 2018!

Cold front moving through. It’s very windy and quite cold. ’70s.

Quite worse on the US east coast though. Some kind of winter cyclone, looks like a dragons eye to me.

Theres supposed to be a wicked cold storm in most of the US East coast.

Me? I plan on the normal beach lunch, with snorkeling! Even if it is a mite chilly.

When I was in the Navy at school in Great Lakes, I loved a video game called TailGunner. It was a very poor game,as far as games go. When 10 ships get by, the came is over. But the ships were so cool. A quarter (25 cents) lasted less than 60 seconds, not a good value.

Another game I loved was BattleZone. And I was good at that game.

There was a similar game for Palm Pilot. Nothing that can compare is available for android though.

Now I just play cards.

There are few stories about UFOs seen in Arizina and California. Turns out they a SpaceX roocket launching iridium satellites. Iridium satellites are cool, They are about the size of a telephone booth, I was told, and have mirror-like antennae. As they rotate in orbit, they reflect the sun down to earth and you can see them. They are called Iridium Flares. You can see them just after sundown or just before sunrise almost every day, look at www.heavensabove.com. But this post is not about Iridium Flares.

(Reuters) – Iridium Communications Inc said on Wednesday its 10 satellites, launched last week by tech billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX, are functioning as expected.

On Wednesday, Iridium said the 10 Iridium NEXT satellites are in early stages of testing and validating process.

Friday’s launch was the fourth set of 10 satellites in a series of 75 total satellites that SpaceX will launch for Iridium.

I’ve been on vacation for one week today, the time is winding down. I got rained on pretty good during my run this morning. Completely unexpected. I had all the chair cushions out in the back porch too, airing them out you know. Supposed to be sunny today.

My wife has been complaining of a backache in the mornings. Last night she slept on a different mattress, from our roll away guest bed and whalla! No backache. Now she wants to get another new mattress. Our curent mattress is about a year old. I said she should determine exactly what type she wants before we get one, ya’know, make and model. I was slightly distressed to learn that she intends to just go and pick one, like we did last time.

I don’t care so much about the mattress as care about the money. They cost over $1000.

Christmas went well yesterday and now for a lot of people, it’s back to work. But I’m not one of them! I’m off till 2018!

The roof is half pressure washed, and I’m going to see if I can finish the second half today! Maybe I’ll be buying paint by the end of the week!

I got up at my normal 5 AM this morning, run and swim in the sea and pool.
