The gas bubble in my eye is shrinking. I can tell. Hopefully it will be gone by the end of the week.

This blog is boring. All I’ve done is read books. I read Windup Girl. It wasn’t bad but hard to keep track of the politics. I read Post Office, about this guy who works at the post office for decades and hates it. I re-read A Man Called Over. Super good. Now I’m reading 101 Essays That at Will Change The Way You Think.

My neck and shoulders hurt from being propped up on my elbows. My upper and lower back hurts from being hunched over all the time. (Bad posture is the way to go when maintaining face down position all the time.) It’s definitely bad for you.

Almost done.

My eye isn’t clearing. It looked like your scuba mask is full of water, shimmery and wavy.. I’m not really worried tho, when the gas is gone the light won’t be traveling from one medium to another (gas to liquid or vice versa) and it should clear up.

Tomorrow marks one completedd week since surgery

it is 17⁰F -10⁰C here in Greensboro NC this morning.

Had my 24 hours follow up. Very blurry vision

Got rid of the eye patch. But they wanted me to wear one to sleep in..I bought more of a Nick Furo eye patch to replace my Arctic Explorer style eye patch.

At least my glasses fit with it on.

I was thinking about wearing it in the daytime too, but I really need the depth perception,, even with a blurry eye it helps a lot.

Mybsurgerybwent well. Less unpleasant than my cataract surgery .

The worst thing so far is the eye patch. It prevents my glasses from fitting properly. Reading was difficult. Hopefully, the patch comes off today..

The doctor considered surgery with no gas bubble, but opted to go with it. But hopefully, I can make it home sooner than expected.

In 22.5 hours, I check in for surgery ……

On my way south today. Turn in the rental car tomorrow, pay my hospital bill the 8th and surgery the 9th.

I’m at my mother’s house in Maryland now. On December 6th I will go back to North Carolina surgery on the 9th.

I need to buy more storage for this blog,. I cannot upload images until I get more storage..
