This morning I ran to the sea, swam, and walked back home. My wife said it was a triathlon. I asked, “what about the biking part?”, she said “Three exercises!”. End of discussion. It’s a triathlon.

I’m a triathlete.

Skins lost…to Dallas. Now the Skins are 0-2. I thought they were going to have a good year.

Saturday, I  re-did the cover for my wife’s planter. It came out really good. Also I repaired and painted a big flat bench I made a long time ago. It had a little rot in one leg and support, I cut new wood to fit, replaced it and painted it. I also cut off the chewed ends from when Sheba was a puppy.

The wife has sprouts coming up in her planters and is happy. Happy Wife, happy life!

The weather is supposed to be nice for the next few days, and overall, things are good!

This morning, the moon was low on the horizon when I got up. I thought to myself that I should take my camera to the sea when I swim, but I didn’t. Shoulda. It was spectacular, the moon, almost full, almost setting on the sea.

Tonight there is a lunar eclipse. It will not be visible over North America. And South America.

I thought yesterday was Tuesday, but late in the afternoon, I realized it was Wednesday.(Yeay! Over the hump!)  But now my biological clock says it’s Friday, even though I know it’s not.

The car or scooter daily dilemma is pretty bothersome these days. Here, there are very concentrated rainstorms. You can be sitting on the beach in the sun, and see it raining a mile down the beach. Yesterday, I was ridinig back to work after lunch and it started raining. I could feel the sprinkles. Then the road curved and took my path was no longer into the path of the rain. Today is supposed to be the same. It’s blue skys above, but I see thunderheads down in town, where I’m going. Will they be gone by the time I go to work? Or should I take the car? Yesterday on the way home, I rode through a patch of rain and got quite wet. I didn’t even bother to stop and put on my raincoat because I could see clear skies ahead. Then it got sunny and I was all dry and normal by the time I got home.

Such problems I have here, living in paradise!

Redskins got hammered last night by the Steelers. Redskins have lost every game to the Steelers since 1991.

This morning I dreamed that the alarm had gone off, and I slept through it. Except I knew it was a dream, so I  knew I didn’t have to get up yet, but I  was worried about oversleeping at the same time.

Went for a swim this morning. Cobalt Coast has a new sign. It’s very pretty, but doesn’t say “open to the public” like the old sign did. Imagine if everyone can go to the beach, except people who live here. That’s pretty much what happened on Seven Miles Beach.

Again this morning is clear, but it’s supposed to be rainy. Yesterday it started raining precisely at 11, just what me weather app said. Car yesterday, car today.

It took me two days, a month or so ago, to build a planter for my wife’s screenhouse. This weekend, a friend and I built four more, two for us and two for them. Saturday, I started cutting wood at 9:30 in the morning. We quit about 9:30 at night. Sunday we put the legs on. Here’s what we got:

Yesterday afternoon I watched American football, and last night we went to a friend’s house for more football and taco dinner.
This morning I got up and ran to the sea, swam a little, walked home, showered and am drinking coffee.

Now it’s time for work in 20 minutes.

Last night, I dreamed I was drawing out the floorplan for my first ship.  I remembered details I thought were long forgotten. Maybe today I’ll try putting it on paper.

Weatherman says rain, but it’s nice and clear. Bike or car?

We got a wedding invitation yesterday. My Navy friends son is getting married in New York. I think I’ll go. Wife can’t go though, she’s maid of honor At a wedding here and has the Bachelorette Party that weekend. 

Tomorrow is FRIDAY!

Wednesday, hump day, so far the week has gone pretty fast.

Supposed to start raining. Front moving in. This afternoon. Riding the scooter today is  a gamble, because I might get wet coming home. The Wife expects a lot of rain, she had me move the small seedlings from the screenhouse to the shelter of the house.

This morning I walked to the sea for my swim and the ladder was up, rough water, no swimming. Maybe at lunchtime today. I’ll be on the downwind side of the island.

We’ve had the AC running for 2 weeks now. At least two weeks. wonder what the electricity bill will look like this month.. AC makes you weak, but I’m really liking it. The beach has been hot all week. Super hot. I have to fix the drain pipe for the AC, water runs down the side of the house. It will stain if I don’t act quickly. I broke it off, pulling vines off of it.
